Our recent family vacation at Illawong was memorable, primarily due to its wonderful family-friendly atmosphere. Positioned conveniently on the beach, this property provided us with easy access to the sun and sea. The unit we stayed in was comfortable, complete with three balconies that welcomed the cool breeze, making it a perfect spot for relaxation after our daily excursions. I must mention that the bed was one of the best I have slept in, ensuring restful nights. During our stay, we visited the Alex Skate Park and Suncity Tenpin. Both activities were enjoyable for the children and made for lovely family bonding moments. It was refreshing to see a place cater directly to families, ensuring all ages found something engaging to do. While the property shows some signs of its age, its charm is evident. For families seeking a welcoming environment, Illawong presents an appealing choice in our beautiful island. We left with fond memories, and I highly recommend it to those looking for a delightful family getaway.
